So I finally got down to selecting a couple of pieces to feature of people who have featured me before I even had the chance to feature back... though I am not sure whether my humble journal features make much difference >.<
You really should check out their galleries!

Uni
I am now back at Uni and exams are approaching fast so this is my last opportunity to really sit down and write about anything before I delve into revision. I will probably be here quite a bit, but in a rather passive fashion... I’ll try to reply to comments, notes etc. though, but I guess there won’t be many new submissions before the end of term and that is quite a long way away...at least it’ll be summer holiday afterwards with a good solid 3 months of free time to do all the drawing, painting and photographing I want
Copyright
This is such a difficult and annoying issue. I’ve done quite a bit of research on the subject because I do use photo references for my drawings and of course some of the things in my gallery are Tolkien (and other) fanart. On the one hand I feel copyright is important because I think any type of original creation deserves to be protected on the other hand it sometimes can be very frustrating if you really want to draw something and you know you are technically infringing copyrights (even if you are not making money of it) and I don’t like that thought. And then of course there are thousands of regulations in different countries and somehow nobody really has a clue (OK, very few people). But this is of course not just an issue when it comes to art, but it is the one I am most concerned with, though as an Economist interested in Development I can get quite annoyed with people dying in poor countries because of patents on medicines and certain type of crops... but then I do understand that patents are necessary for companies to do research. Anyway, I’d really like to know what you think about the issue.
Constructive Criticism
If you ever see anything wrong with any of my picture PLEASE say so! Sometimes I draw, paint or generally create something and I see there is SOME flaw in it but I just don’t know where it is or how to improve in which case constructive criticism is the best way to learn... or I might not even be aware that something is wrong. This is especially true for my digital painting work where my experience is still limited!
Every sort of criticism is of course somewhat painful BUT it also shows that somebody has cared enough about your work to have a closer look and think about it and that is worth a lot!
(That said there is a big difference between constructive criticism and criticism meant to insult, but I guess you know that
Anyway, thanks for reading!
Oh, and I recently got sea monkeys, I've never had them as a kid and always wanted to try whether it actually works as well as they proclaim... now I am way to exceited about them for a person my age >.<
